The product

PortableAI is a self-hosted, offline system. After setup it does not require internet, user accounts, or external APIs to chat. Each paired device only sees its own data. You can export that data. The laptop/admin can see paired devices for storage and benchmarking.

We do not operate a cloud copy of your chats as part of the product. What stays on your laptop and phone is under your control.
